This year's Juror, Jill Frank, Assistant Professor in the Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University, returns to UTC to present a lecture about her own work at 5:30pm, Tuesday Jan. 22, in the Benwood Auditorium of the EMCS building directly across Vine Street from the Fine Art Center & the Cress. Following, at approximately 6:30pm in the lobby of the Cress, the exhibition will be celebrated with a reception and an award presentation. Click the News Tab for a full list of accepted students and entries. This event is open to the public; admission is free. Note: Visitors may park free after 5:00pm in any UTC lot not marked "24 Hour Reserved."

The Cress will close at 5:00 pm Wednesday, Nov. 21 thru Sunday Nov. 25 for the holiday and administrative closing. The Cress will reopen Monday, Nov. 26 for regular weekday and weekend hours thru Dec. 12. THE CRESS WILL BE CLOSED TODAY SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 04, DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE STREET CLOSURES AND DISRUPTION SURROUNDING THE PAID POLITICAL EVENT AT THE UTC ARENA. Thanks to everyone who visited yesterday during Chattanooga's annual Gallery Hop and expect a return to regular operating hours tomorrow, Monday, November 05.
